82-96 twin I-beam 4WD Fords have always been known for their rugged design. When building our Stage 2 kit, we kept up with Ford on the strength, but improved the performance. Our radius arm is 15” longer than stock, giving the F-150 11” of wheel travel and is shaped to give full turning radius. These features, combined with heavy duty I-beam drop brackets, leave the Ford truck looking factory tough and ready to perform. 97-01 F-series and Expedition 4” Stage 2 kits allow you to install up to a 315/75 R16 tire mounted on a 16x8 or 16x10” wheel. The drop spindle design eliminates the need to drop the upper control arm and allows all factory components to re-attach. Thus, there is no need for an aftermarket centerlink. Since the factory torsion bars stay at factory specifications, the ride remains stable and comfortable. The new Super Duty is the truck of choice for extreme duty. To compliment these impressive Fords, Explorer Pro Comp has engineered eight suspension systems built to handle the punishment the trucks are meant to take. We started with a new design for the leaf springs and combined them with new Pro Ride rubber bushings. Together, they insure years of trouble-free use and comfort. The 2” and 4” Stage 1 systems utilize front springs and trac bar adjustment cam bolts. The 4” and 6” Stage 2 systems feature front springs, a replacement trac arm bracket, and a dropped forged pitman arm. Our replacement sway bar end links allow for full articulation. Rear ride height and
payload capacity are increased with an add-a-leaf and block kit. Our NEW 6.5”
and 8.5” systems for 4WD Super Duty’s include all the same features as mentioned
above, except in the rear. New for 2001, we have engineered a set of rear
springs with all the great features as our front springs and are designed for
these heavy duty trucks.
